Located on North Tarrant Parkway across from Brandonwood Drive,

the Green Valley Raceway

Historic Area will be located at a corner point along the John Barfield Trail, and will include a pathway to remnants of the original track and pit crew area.

Planned as a convenient gathering spot for hikers, bicyclists and drivers, the site will serve as a restful spot to celebrate memories, learn about Green Valley Raceway's story and take photographs in front of the 8 ft. x 16 ft. "selfie wall," with art that commemorates the exciting racing history of Green Valley from 1960 - 1986.

The design has taken into consideration the vital elements of Green Valley Raceway, from the cheering crowds to the shape of the high-performance wheels, to the tire tracks left in the wake of a dragster taking off down the straightway,

the comprehensive scheme reflects the action and the excitement that was the very essence of this storied racing venue.
