Learn about the drivers, crews, cars and events that lit up a corner of Smithfield (now North Richland Hills), Texas for over 25 years.
See the place, the plans and the future.
There's a special kind of daredevil who has the guts to go for the glory of racing and rallies. North Texas, and in particular, the Smithfield-North Richland Hills area seemed to breed and attract some remarkable men and women who broke boundaries and speed records. For 26 dazzling years, between 1960 and 1986, Green Valley Raceway was central to where legends were made.
Were you there? Did you or your family race there?
We want to hear YOUR story.
We invite you to share your memories and photos here.
Passion, excitement and the roar of the engines from 1960 -1986
